Happy Clients:
Danielle is amazing. I can’t praise her enough for all the work she did on optimizing and helping to design my WordPress website. She’s such a pleasure to work with, extremely knowledgeable, patient, her response time is beyond belief fast and there wasn’t anything she couldn’t fix, create or customize. I would 100% hire her again.
Nikki Van Schyndel, Luminaria Wilderness Ventures
I highly recommend Danielle for any marketing needs. She helped in many areas of our Pajama Drive. She was great to work with and gave a lot of helpful ideas and suggestions. She was so sweet and also very professional. I had no clue where to even begin and knew very little about marketing or how to even start a Grassroot Pajama Drive Event. She helped explain everything and walked me step by step through the process. She also helped to draft our marketing flyer as well as the press release. Both the flyer and the press release turned out amazing and several news outlets picked up our story! Danielle helped to get everything going and become a huge success. I definitely recommend Danielle!
Melissa Saville, The PJ Drive
I’m so pleased with the headshots Danielle took for me! She was easy to work with, gave great suggestions, and figured out exactly what I needed (even when I didn’t). I ended up with several great shots, it was hard to choose which ones to use!
Hey,
I’m Danielle Verderame
The Shop Shop is turning things up a notch for me. This agency focuses my 15-year marketing career and 5-year freelance business (Verderame, LLC) into a boutique agency.
And it’s all focused on retail.
I’ve brought together a small team that specializes in marketing services for makers, eStores, and retailers.
Working with us is simple. I am the main point of contact on all my accounts. I visit in person or schedule phone calls to discuss your projects. My team members are all located in Central VA and we work together closely. (No passing you off to a junior coordinator after you sign!)
Communication
During a campaign, I send weekly updates, letting you know any changes, questions, or important details. I always include a summary report at the end of a campaign. If a client runs an ongoing campaign, I send a monthly report.
Security
I have strict security protocols for advertising accounts and websites. I have a team of 3 other professionals whom I’ve personally trained to assist me with my accounts (i.e. data entry, quality assurance, and proofreading). They’re all local to Central Virginia and we work together closely. I never outsource to other marketing teams or overseas ad groups.

Visibility
You’ll have full access to any reports, and primary ownership of your accounts, and we can discuss questions about the campaign anytime. I’m also interested in feedback from your team. Conversations about your customer’s in-store experience, and discussions about other channels, usually drive the creative and inspire better campaigns.

The Process
1
PHASE ONE
When you work with me, communication is everything. At the first meeting, we will identify the primary person approving the creative and anyone who you would like kept in the loop. We will discuss your project goals and brand.
2
PHASE TWO
Next, I develop a strategy and creative based on our prior discussions. I send these for review and edits. Most of the time, this takes place over email. We can also set up a video meeting to review the visual aspects of the project.
3
PHASE THREE
Once you approve the final version, I will launch the creative. At this time, we discuss any ongoing tracking or reporting related to your project.
Work Examples

Live Trendy or Die
We assisted Live Trendy or Die with their Instagram feed and branding. This project began with a rebrand where we developed a visual guide and messaging. Additionally, we set up new templates in Canva, created Lightroom presets, developed a posting schedule, and detailed guidelines for posting. Together, we were able to build their audience, grow engagement, and increase sales in-store and online.

CWI Craft Studio
We created a website https://craftstudiousa.org/ for Compassionate Women Initiative. Their collection is inspired by vibrant kitenge fabric. One special touch? We designed several graphic elements that used these colors and patterns. It’s a unique look — targeting an American shopper while honoring their Ugandan style.

Whole Heart Candle Co.
The perfect example of a money-saving project, we helped Whole Heart Candle Co. with Custom CSS for her site’s front end. So, she didn’t need a new theme or an upgrade to fix some mobile design issues. Also, we helped sync her Shopify store with Meta’s Commerce Center. Now, she can add items to her website and they’ll automatically appear on Facebook and Instagram.

Textured Pop Up
Part of a virtual pop-up, we developed the website for Textured on the Comment Sold Platform. When the site was active, they held live sales on Instagram featuring their products. Users could purchase by commenting “Sold” during the live sale. The order would be processed through the backend of the website.
We developed and launched over 10 collections as part of this project.
