April’s flower of the month is the delicate Sweet Pea. It’s often used to thank someone for a wonderful time or to say goodbye.

I wasn’t particularly aware of this little wild flower until I studied it for this design. The “pea” name comes from the way it looks before it blooms — much like a pea plant.
